Does CD have any special rules regarding the speed of the diffrent train types? Like for instance: local and regional trains only goes by 120km/h while IC train go by 160km/h etc.
Because they have that system in many countries, and I know that the czech mainlines have many small stations with short distance, so there must be some kind of speed rule :D

I also know that some nighttrains goes on lower speed too sometimes, do they do so on the czech routes?

CD have not special rules, but mostly in Breclav-Praha-route :
local and regional trains max 120 km/h (140 only local trains type 471 in Prague-Kolin-Pardubice)
fast trains 120 - 140 km/h (140 with engine 162/362/151/350 and A,B,AB,WR,Bc and WLAB types of carriage, f.e. fast trains between Prague and Zabreh na Morave or Breclav-Hodonin)
expres, IC and EC mostly 160 (engine 151/350 and modern types of carriage A(p)ee, B(p)ee, Bmz, Ampz etc.)
