Problems with the new update for Breclav - Praha

I have been downloading updates for the Breclav - Praha routes since December now, and there has been no problems, but with the two latest problems there has!

It started with the update 23.06.05
When I was making and activity for the route, it took 10 minutes to load the activity in the Acitivity Editor. It took the same time to open MSTS, to drive on the route.
I want to point out that I HAVE Route Riter. The only route I had in MSTS was this.

When I then downloaded the update 29.06.05 it went totally crazy! if I want to start the activity in Activity Editor or open MSTS, it loads for 20 minutes and then it crashes. I then tried to remove it with Route riter and put another route in, and MSTS was fine again.

Has anyone else had the problem with the new updates? has it something to do with the speed of my computer maybe?

Only thing it has to do with is a huge number of paths in the route's directory caused by large amount of activities shipped with the route and dense traffic included in them. It is recommended to use TRAIN STORE to deal with this problem.

I HAVE used Train Store. There is only 1 single activity and 1 path left, and it's still the same.
I tried to remove the route, install it one more time, along with all the updates, and again, when I download the newest update, it crashes

So try this:
Unstore all contents in Train Store and uninstall Train Store from your PC (something may be wrong here). Then manualy empty folders ACTIVITES, PATHS SERVICES and TRAFFIC (don't forget to make a backup!) and set your screen colour depth to 16-bit. Then try running MsTS Activity Editor and tell, if it is working.

Check once more whether you have ALL of the updates (as you might already realized, they are numbered)|. Don't forget the 50A update.

And finally, tell me something about your HW specs.

No, it still dosen't work. I even tried to Re-Install the route and all of the updates again, and as before, it works fine until I install the newest update.

I'm not sure what you mean by HW specs. I assume you're talking about RAM and CPU?
My computer has 2.20GHz CPU and 248 MB RAM

I can tell you, it was hard enough making an activity when it worked before. It was almost impossible to move around in the activity editor unless I told it to show only the platforms and nothing else.

Oh, and by the way. You spoke about 50A update? If it's not placed on the Updates site, then I don't have it.

Well, it IS placed on the update site. You should try closing some background programmes or run a spyware detector, and install memory manager, because it might be caused by something that is *stealing* your free memory (and everyone knows that Windows' /even XP/ memory handling is not the thing Microsoft can be proud of). Check once more, whether only one path /and actitivity/ is present in route's folder. And have you tried using 16bit screen colour depth? If you have XP windows, try to set non-unicode programs handling to Czech.
