Problems with Trat 150 Surany - Zvolen

Hi.
I have downloaded this very nice route. I have made many test runs in the "explore route" mode, but as soon as I make an activity for it, it crashes. I made a test activity, with my player train and some traffic trains. I start MSTS and click on the activity. The loading screen starts and just when the loading is about to finish, the screen freeze for 2 minutes and then I get the "don't send/Send" error report from Microsoft. I have tried to delete traffic trains, switched locomotives, everything, but it still does the same when I want to drive an activity. Here comes the funny part. There was one activity, where I had forgot to make the timetable, so the train had to arrive and depart at all stations at 00:00:00. The funny thing was that it DIDN'T crash this time. I then went back to activity creator and fixed the timetable, then again it crashed when I tried to load the activity. So it only works when I don't have a timetable. Can you explain what is wrong?

I have noticed that this route dosen't have an Install.bat file in it's folder like most other routes do. Could this be the problem? It dosen't make sense though, because I can run the route in "Explore Route" without any problems
 
No, missing install.bat is not your problem. All required files are in route's installation package. But this consists of two parts. One is the route itself and the second is GLOBAL folder, that contains some files unique for this route. So, have you also downloaded an installed this package?

Another problem can be option Sky texture turned off. This also causes troubles.
 
Yeah. I've downloaded the GLOBAL files also, with sound and everything.
Perhaps I should just re-install the route. I remember actually that when I first got the route, I started an activity from Zvolen to Surany, and it actully worked, except when I started moving the train. The frame was too heavy for my computer, so it crashed rather quickly.

I don't really know why it suddenly won't work. I'll try to re-install it I think :)
 
Can you tell some details about your hardware config? some things may just be too complex for your PC ...
 
I had the same problem that JOHNZ has mentioned. The route could be too much CPU and memory consuming.

I have had these trouble ! I have resolved with change the install.bat taked by other routes, preferebly the best is it from Vaclav19 it is 49 Kb.
It is probably that you have some textures missing "aarampa" ,"lanrampa"and "leramp" that you can find also inside other Czech or foreing routes.
My Pc is Athlon 2700,512Mb Ram,Video card AGP Ati Radeon 128 Mb; the Route is very hard to run with slow PC.

I downloaded and installed this route today and have the same problems.It will start from one end in explorer mode then after about 2 mins it crashes ,send\don't send.

Trying to run from the other end ,it crashes before it loads.

My specs are........

P4 2.8mhz
1.5gb ddr system memory
Nvidia 6600GT 8xagp 128mb video card
Soundblaster Audigy sound card
2x 120gb hard drives,both only 50% full max.

The route works fine but I missing the next soundfiles : Cd240eng.sms and cd240cab.sms.
Where can I find these files?

Download that archive, unzip it into TRAINSET folder, and check sound lines of according .eng file, which should be set to these values:

ENGsound:
Sound ( ../../common.snd/sndelok/240eng.sms )

CABsound
Sound ( ../../common.snd/sndelok/240cab.sms )
